Apartment List’s PartnerPortal is your new one-stop shop for updating your communities pricing, availability & floor plans along with amenities and photos for clients that are not utilizing a feed to host this data. You can login here by resetting your password or through Google or Outlook single sign on. If you have questions or issues logging in, please reach out to our Client Services team at clientservices@apartmentlist.com.

My pricing is wrong. How can I update my listing?

Since we are able to integrate directly with the systems you use every day, most of our listings are set up with automated pricing and availability data daily. If you are unsure of how to make edits in your operating system or are not sure if Apartment List is connected, please reach out to our Client Services team with your community and property management company name at clientservices@apartmentlist.com

If you are not currently utilizing an operating system to house your pricing & availability, you can make pricing & availability updates within our Client Portal.

How Can I Add More of my Properties to Apartment List?

How Can I Get My Listing to Show Higher in Search?

Why aren't all of my leads in my LMS?

Your community is enrolled in AI Tech. AI Tech is our free AI tool that further pushes renters down funnel and will allow you to prioritize renters who are ready to move. We are only directing renters into your LMS who are further in their search, which we have identified by the renter requesting a tour, sending a message, asking about an application, etc.

We receive leads from renters requesting a tour. Are renters able to schedule tours on Apartment List?

Renters interested in taking a look at your community in person can request the option to visit directly through our site. The lead we send to your teams will show the dates and times the renter is interested in stopping by alongside their contact information for follow-up. With certain integration set-ups, we also offer direct tour booking through Apartment List, saving onsite teams’ time!

How does Apartment List know when to bill for a move-in?

We’ve worked with your IT and Marketing teams during onboarding to complete the setup of automated move-in reporting that allows us to determine when an Apartment List lead has turned into a move-in at your community! Our invoices include details where to direct specific questions.

Where Does My Monthly Move-In Reporting Need To Be Sent To?

As Apartment List is a pay per lease partner, we require monthly move-in reporting from our clients. If we are not receiving this reporting on an automated basis through an operating system that houses your move-ins, you can send your monthly move-in reporting in an Excel or CSV file to reports@apartmentlist.com

Who Do I Reach Out To With Questions Regarding An Invoice For A Move-In At My Community?

We have a full team of A-Listers on our Accounts Receivable team prepared to address your questions regarding invoicing including any potential invoice disputes you may have. You may reach out to them directly with the name of your community and property management company at ar@apartmentlist.com.

I’ve received leads with amenity preferences or price ranges that vary from what my building offers. Are these actual prospects?

They are! We share categories with our renters to help them throughout their search! This gives renters the opportunity to flex on the amenities they’d prefer, the amount they’d like to spend, etc. We send over their wishlist to help your team discuss the best options available at your community to help them find the perfect fit!

I’ve Received Leads From Renters Whose Price Ranges Are Too Low; Their Rents Do Not Match What My Building Offers. Are These Actual Prospects?

They are! We understand most of the time renters don't set a realistic budget range for their location, which is why we have the "Pay a bit more" category where a renter can find your community in case you are higher priced. We've completed various studies that show when a renter enters their rent price into our questionnaire, 60% of those renters ultimately end up leasing somewhere more expensive, spending an average of $180 above their originally desired rent! This is great for you because we're able to match your community with more renters on our platform, giving you the exposure you deserve.

I’d like to request training for my community. How Can I Do This?

Our Client Engagement Team provides customized training for property managers and leasing teams via Zoom. A specialist will walk through how our platform works, complete a thorough listing review while making live updates and strategize ways to improve performance with your onsite team. Does Apartment List Offer Single Family Housing?

While we do offer single family homes on our site, our current inventory is optimized for larger apartment communities.  We hope to expand in the future to include more single family homes, but for now we recommend using one of our trusted partners, Listhub and RentLinx, if you are interested in making single family listing(s) available on Apartment List as they syndicate to our site directly.
